Amy Murphy-Watts specialises in black and white portraits of children. Her choice of an outside location allows the children to be more at ease resulting in a relaxed and natural style of portrait photography.

In order for the children to be themselves, Amy will come to your house to take the black and white portraits. The children are therefore in an environment that is their own, which gives Amy an advantage of being able to wander around them, letting them play whilst she captures them on film.

For the black and white portraits Amy charges a set fee for the sitting, and the film and developing is then charged by the roll. This means there is no restriction to the amount of film taken on the day of your booking. A typical session would usually take two films (72images) but if it is a larger family then more may be taken.

The black and white portraits are then posted to you in the format of 6x4” proofs which are yours to keep, and from these you can make the selection of those you wish to have enlarged.
